Obituary of Dorothy A. Habron

Dorothy "Dottie" Habron, 92, of Pennsville, NJ entered into the eternal embrace of God on December 7, 2018, after a very brief stay in the Christiana Hospital. She passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family. Dottie was proceeded in death by the love of her life, Franklin Edward Habron, affectionally known as Snooks, their love endured for a lifetime and this year they would have been married for 70 years. Dottie, born in Monmouth County, NJ to the late Wallace and Dorothy Chasey was a loving mother and grandmother, lover of penguins and everything purple, and avid reader. She knew more about sports then some professionals and was a lifelong Eagles and Phillies fan. She is survived by her son's Terry (Gwen), Bruce, and Kevin (Brenda), and grandsons Brandon and Chris. She was also preceded in death by her sister Janet Elwell and granddaughter Ashley Brooke Habron (Terry and Gwen). Friends and family are invited to call on Friday, December 14, 2018, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at Laughery Funeral Home in Pennsville, NJ followed by the funeral service at 11:00 AM. Burial will be at the Salem County Veterans Cemetery Pilesgrove, NJ. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations in Dottie's memory to the Friends of the Pennsville Public Library Foundation. Up until recently Dottie went to the library every week to take out books and was well known by the staff, you would almost call her a fixture there.
