Ruth Sigmon Yunk 81, of Pennsville, NJ, formerly of Charleston, WV, died Monday 12-24-2018. She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Daniel Yunk; parents, Wilbur and Mary (Hammons) Sigmon, Sr. of Charleston, sisters Dolores Moor of Norfolk, Va. and Phyllis Hall of Sun City Center, Fla, brothers James Edward Sigmon of Charleston and Wilbur Sigmon Jr. of Taylors, SC. She is survived by her son, Stephen Yunk, of Pennsville NJ; her brother, Charles Sigmon of Clarksburg, WV., and many nieces and nephews, including her niece and good friend Pat Brown of New Castle, De. Ruth worked as a secretary for 30 years. She retired in 2003 after 23 years as an administrative assistant at the DuPont Company's Wilmington, Delaware offices. At her request, there will be no viewing or service. Burial will take place at the Salem County Veterans Cemetery, Pilesgrove, NJ and will be handled by Laughrey Funeral Home, Pennsville
