Gary S. Rogers, age 62 of Woodstown died Sunday January 13, 2019 at the Inspira Medical Center, Vineland. He was born in Fountain Hill, PA and is the son of May Hughes Rogers and the late Alfred Rogers. Gary was a longtime Salem County resident.
He was US Army Veteran of the Vietnam War.
Besides his mother he is survived by his wife Bette M. Moore Rogers, son Daniel P. Rogers and his wife Karlee, brother, Paul Rogers, stepmother, Carol Rogers.
He was a devoted husband and father. Gary loved to make people laugh and was a friend to all. He enjoyed blue grass music and was a member of the Avalon String Band. He also enjoyed camping, hiking, skiing and sailing.
A celebration of life service will be held 8:00 PM on Friday January 18, at the Laughrey Funeral Home, Pennsville where friends may call from 6:00 to 8:00 PM prior to the service. Burial will be private.
