Obituary of Francis M. Kardos

In loving Memory of Francis M. Kardos Francis M. Kardos of Salem, New Jersey went home to be with the Lord at age 77 on Saturday, March 16, 2019. Francis (Frank) was born June 4, 1941 to Stephen and Wanda Kardos of Carney's Point, New Jersey. Frank married his high school sweetheart, Shirley Kardos, whom he cherished dearly in their 50 plus years of marriage. His love, Shirley was pre-deceased on November 3, 2013. Frank was a beloved husband and father whose devotion and love for his family was unparalleled. Surviving children are: Stephanie Wiltsee, Francine Herrmann, Theresa Boos-Forman, and Francis S. Kardos. Surviving grandchildren are: Taylor, Casie, Cody, Amber, Chucky, Nicholas, Mollie, Sydney, and step-grandchildren, Jason and Garrett. In his early employment years Frank owned his own auto body shop in Woodstown, NJ. He was an employee of DuPont Chambers Works for most of his career and later also served as a guard at both Siegfried Chemical and the Salem Hospital. In his younger days, Frank enjoyed riding in his hard-top convertible corvette. Later he also enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle, fishing, listening to music, and reading Western novels. Frank had a strong bond with each of his children and grandchildren, especially his son, Franny, with whom he resided.
