Kristy S. Killen (nee Johnson), Age 42, of Pennsville, passed away on Saturday, May 4, 2019, following a year and a half battle with breast cancer. Daughter of Arde Johnson, Jr. and Susan L. Johnson (nee Leonard), she was born in Wilmington, DE and raised in Pennsville. Kristy worked as the human resources manager for the Township of Cherry Hill. She was a graduate of Pennsville Memorial High School and Catholic University in Washington, DC. Besides her parents, she is survived by her loving sons, Jacob and Logan, brother Arde Johnson III and his wife Joyce of Blenheim, their children Bradley, Ashley, Matthew (Jacy), and Derrick, sister Kelly Del Tufo and her husband Michael of Raleigh, NC, their children Jeremy, and Sofia, and many aunts, uncles and cousins too numerous to name. She was dearly loved by her many friends and family. She was kind and loving friend and mother and will be remembered for her warmth and beautiful smile.
A memorial service will be held at the Laughrey Funeral Home, Pennsville on Saturday, May 11, from 10:00am to 11:30am. A remembrance luncheon will follow from 12:00 noon to 2:00 pm at the Salem County Sportsmen's Club, 273 Route 40, Carneys Point, NJ.
