Margaret H. Burke, age 86 of Pennsville died Friday May 31, 2019 at the Memorial Hospital of Salem County. She was born in Camden, NJ and was the daughter of the late Joseph and Margaret Held Herman. Peg as she was called was a longtime resident on the Pennsville riverfront.
Peg was employed as a secretary for the Pennsville School District. She also helped her husband on their fishing boat the "Gay Lady". She was an avid quilter, reader and taking pictures of the sunsets on the river.
Survived by her brother, Robert Herman and his wife Robin and her faithful dog Tucker.
Predeceased by her husband, Daniel R. Burke (2017) and a brother, John Herman.
