Dorothy E. Fowser Age 93 of Pennsville died Thursday October 17th 2019 at her home. She was born in New Castle, DE and was the daughter of the late Bradford Ennis and Sarah Celestia Hodson.
Survived by daughter Kathleen Fowser and husband Ken of Pennsville, sons Eric P. "Rusty" Fowser and his wife Cindy of Pennsville and Paul D. Fowser and his wife Susan of Delaware. Grandchildren Jason Fowser of Pennsville Cory Fowser and Shane Fowser of Wimington, DE.
Predeceased by husband Eric Fowser brothers Bradford Eugene Ennis, James Earle Ennis Longford and sister Mary Hodson Ennis.
Dorothy was the direct descendent of Colonel Clarence Hodson founder of the Beneficial Corporation. She and her husband bought and lovingly restored the Cornelius Copner house in Salem County. Built in 1740 it is one of the 21 patterned brick homes of Salem County. She continued her love of antiques when she opened an Antique shop in Pennsberg, PA. She participated in the Pennsville and Salem County Historical Societies.
