On Monday, April 1, 2020, Barbara Lee Friebel née Brennen went to be with her Lord. Barbara was 87 years young. Barbara was born in Norristown, Pa. on March 9, 1933 to Paul R. Brennen and Clara M. (Williams) Brennen. She began her career at Duponts in Deepwater, NJ but eventually became a medical transcriptionist for various hospitals. On March 27, 1953, she married Robert James Friebel. They raised a daughter and son, Terry Lee and Robert Alan.
Barbara loved her family dearly. She loved to laugh and be around people. She was an avid gardener and excellent cook.
Barbara was preceded in death by her father, Paul, mother, Clara, husband Robert J and son, Robert A. She is survived by her daughter Terry Lee and husband Tony, brother Joseph and wife Jean as well as granddaughter Lauren, grandsons Jacob and Joshua, great grandchildren Sabastian and Saylor, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Family will have a celebration of her life on a future date.
In lieu of flowers, you may make a donation in her name to the Salem County Humane Society.
