Dear Dinger and Bell family,
Many happy memories of school bus rides and WHS band come flooding to mind. So sorry to hear of the passing of your kind, funny, talented brother. His dry humor and friendly ways always made us smile. Even after we were all "grown up", he always seemed genuinely glad to run into a fellow Sharptowner. (As do you!) He still smiled when I called him Gus, like your father.
Our fathers all worked at DuPont and knew one another, which somehow seemed strange at the time, but made things more familiar.
We'll miss seeing him at the Oyster dinners!
May good memories help all of you through this difficult time. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
Jaye Pratt Davis and Jim Davis

Glen & I worked together for 15 years, but only the last 3 years or so we really became very close friends .. We both shared a love for the arts - music, theater, dance, fine arts...I'll never forget his wonderful tenor voice...I'm gonna miss singing together in the car or anywhere...just for fun...We both loved cooking & took turns cooking Saturday & Sunday dinner...I'm gonna miss his famous crock pot beef stew, chili & chicken soup & just chit chatting by the fireplace for hours about anything and everything... He had a wealth of knowledge in so many subjects, especially American History...I'm gonna miss Glen's keen wit & sense of humor & his belly laugh...One Thanksgiving turned into many holidays and many days...pretty much every day, car pooling to work... I'm gonna miss those gifts of fruit on my desk at work, not sometimes, but daily...Glen gave unconditionally and I knew he wanted to give to someone, to me, a sense of feeling cared about... & I did & do...He worked painstakingly for months on a needlepoint project for me Corinthians 13 what "Love is …." I'm gonna miss those random phone calls & text messages just because, & and that nightly text that I'm his "princess", like clock work....I'm even gonna miss those cranky moods (his & mine), that we'd both easily brushed off....My soul was & is touched forever by you, Glendon Bell...I'm gonna miss your physical presence, but your spiritual presence lives on forever indeed...Bless your soul, my friend forever...
