Obituary of George E. Dantine, Jr.

George E. Dantine, Jr. age 82 a longtime resident of Salem County passed in peace on Friday September 4, 2020 at Merion Gardens, Carneys Point, NJ. He was born in Hopewell Township on Sep 12,1937. He graduated from PG Re-Hi in 1954 where he excelled in football. He retired from DuPont Chambers Works after 41 years of service. He enjoyed racing his cars, hunting, bowling, playing PV rec old men's softball league, the race track, vacationing at the Jersey shore & Florida. George loved bluegrass & country music. He was a devoted & loving family man. A great guy with a great sense of humor & a kind heart. He will be missed greatly by his entire family. Survived by his daughters, Georgette D. Ayers and her husband Gary, Pamela Missimer and her husband Kenny, Debra Biddle and her life partner Scott Rogers, loving PopPop of Stefanie Fleisher and her husband Corey, Danielle Baginski and her husband Adam, and Thomas Bright and his wife Nicole, proud great PopPop to Matthew and Eli Fleisher, Madison Bright, and Hunter Ayers, his sister Annette Berge & her husband Lou, and sister in law Barbara Williams and many nieces and nephews and he was the beloved patriarch to Robert Biddle and his wife Katie. Predeceased by his wife, Priscilla M. DelBorrello Dantine, his parents George Dantine & Bertha Buckson Dantine, & Edith Dantine and his sister Barbara Land. Graveside funeral services will be held 11:00 AM on Tuesday September 8, 2020 at Lawnside Cemetery, Woodstown, NJ. 08098. Where all friends may call.
