He was always fun to be around when I was on the Stage crew at Pennsville High School in the late 60's.

So sorry to read this. I worked many years with Mr. Davidson on the stage crew for assemblies, concerts, and productions. I acquired most of my electrical knowledge from Mr Davidson, and spent many hours in the “cage.” It is one of my favorite high school memories. Rest In Peace, Mr Davidson.

My condolences to Aunt Bea, Colleen & Hal, Cheryl & Alan, all of the grandkids, and the little great-grandchild.
I'll miss Uncle George, but I'll always remember his love for teaching and for all of those around him. He would never say no, to anyone who asked for his help.
I'd like to attach a poem I wrote several years ago. It is titled 'Out of the Shadows'.
Out of the shadows of despair,
We find hope.
We summon the strength and courage to cope.
Out of the shadows of death,
We find life.
Even though pain cuts us worse than a knife.
Out of the shadows of heartache,
We mend.
We call on the love of family and friends.
Out of the shadows of sorrow,
We mourn.
We weep to mend where our hearts have been torn.
Out of the shadows of darkness,
We find,
The light that will help ease and strengthen our mind.
Out of the shadows of one who is gone,
We all must find the will to go on.
Fran McBride. Written 6/23/2001.

I first met Mr. Davidson at Pennsville Junior memorial high school in my eighth grade year. Mr. Davidson was my typing teacher. This would turn out to be one of the most important and useful parts of my High School education. Mr Davidson helped me achieve 80 wpm with accuracy!! He taught me a skill that I have used daily for 40 years during my professional career. I cannot imagine getting through a day without being at my keyboard composing and working using the skill he taught me. And in later high school years, I worked side by side with Mr. Davidson on musical theater sets and on school prom decorations. Those are very special memories. Thank you Mr Davidson!! Sounds silly, but I think of Mr Davidson often when I am typing faster than someone else during a work chat or a meeting. I think: it’s a shame they did not know Mr Davidson! Thank you for being such an important influence in my life!!

I'm so sorry for the loss of Uncle George. He was such a huge part of my life and will be dearly missed. I especially appreciate the time he gave to my parents throughout their lives and illness. It was always a good time when I would visit and spend time with him and Aunt Bea. I will miss our conversations.

Mr. Davidson is one of the few male teachers of tech that encouraged my curiosity with technology as a woman. I am deeply saddened to hear of his passing. The Universe has brought one of its most brilliant creations back to the cosmic goo. The world is down one amazing human being with his passing. He will be remembered forever by those whose lives he touched. Thank you, Mr. Davidson, for being awesome.

Dearest Bea and family
Sending my thoughts and prayers for George and his transition into Heaven.
I was a student first (PMHS Basic Buiness) and later friend to the whole
family when you joined the Pennsville Public Library.
George and the Davidson clan were always uplifting when they came in
and I was happy to have each of you in my life.
Always in my memory.
Sincerely,
Deborah Ecret
